Folders help you organize documents into a custom structure, making it easier to locate, share, and manage files within the platform.
Beyond creating a nested hierarchy with subfolders, you can share folders with other users or groups within your organization, or even share them via a public link—setting view or edit permissions as needed.
To open the Folders menu, click the icon in the top left corner of the screen, as shown below.

Subfolders allow you to build a nested hierarchy to better organize your documents.
To create a subfolder:
Go to the Folders menu.
Open the desired folder.
Click options (three-dot icon).
Click New folder
Write the folder's name and click on "create folder"

To create a document directly in the desired folder, select:
Go to the Folders menu.
Open the desired folder.
Click options (three-dot icon).
Click New Document

You can share a folder to give other users access to its contents.
You can share folders in three ways:
People
Groups
Public link
Sharing with people

Select the Folder menu
Access the desired folder and click on the three dot icon
Click on share
Select the option "people"
Click on +Add
Enter the email addresses of the users you want to share the folder with, select their access level (Viewer or Editor), add an optional message, and click Share.
Once shared, users will receive an email notifying them that a folder has been shared with them. They will be able to access it based on their assigned permission level (Viewer or Editor).

Access the desired folder and click the three dot icon
Click on share
Select on the menu "Groups"
Click on +Add
Select the desired group, choose the access level (Viewer or Editor), and click Share.

It is also possible to share a folder using a link.
Select the Folder menu
Access the desired folder and click on the three dot icon
Click on share
Select the menu "link"
Click on +New Link
Access granted through this option is view-only; editing folder content is not available.
Special configurations on link sharing:
For added security, you can set a password for the link, which users must enter to view the folder's content:
You can change, reset, or remove the link's password at any time. These options are available in the Public link sharing tab.
Click Revoke to disable access through the shared link. The existing link will no longer work, and you will need to generate a new link to share the folder again.

When you share a folder, you can set a permission level for each user or group.
a) Viewer: Users with Viewer access can view folder contents, navigate subfolders, and view shared documents, but they cannot make any changes.
b) Editor: Users with Editor access can manage the folder and its documents. They can also perform actions available in the More options menu—such as renaming, sharing, archiving, or deleting the folder—along with other available tools based on their permissions.
